What Lucivity is

Lucivity is volunteer scheduling and check-in software made by Etherflow. Churches and other organizations use it to plan who serves when. With text messages turned on, volunteers get their serving schedule, roster changes and messages from their coordinators by text, and can reply to their coordinators the same way.

How to sign up

Text JOIN to (888) 519-5710 from the mobile phone you want to use. You will get one text confirming you are signed up. Nobody can sign you up for texts but you: a coordinator adding your phone number to a roster does not sign you up.

An invitation from your organization

A coordinator can invite someone who gave the organization their mobile number, and who is on its own records, to text with its volunteer team. The invitation is one text from a Lucivity number, (888) 519-5710 or (833) 901-0894. It is sent once to a number, never again, and never to a number that has replied STOP:

Luci at Evergreen: a coordinator would like to text you about serving. Reply JOIN to get and send texts. No reply, no more texts. STOP to opt out.

Replying JOIN signs you up, the same as texting JOIN yourself, and you get the confirmation above. If you do not reply, Lucivity sends nothing more to your number. The invitation does not sign you up: only your JOIN does.

What we send

  • Reminders of the dates and times you are scheduled to serve
  • Changes to your roster, room or serving time
  • Messages from your coordinators, which you can reply to

We never send marketing or promotional texts. A few examples:

Lucivity: Hi Sam, you're serving in Kids Worship this Sunday at 9:00 AM. Reply here if you can't make it. Reply STOP to cancel.
Lucivity: Roster change for Wednesday night. You're now with Sparks in Room 114. Reply STOP to cancel.
Lucivity: Message from your coordinator Jordan: Can you cover the 11:00 service this week? Reply STOP to cancel.

How often, and what it costs

Message frequency varies with your serving schedule, usually a few texts a week. Lucivity does not charge for texts, but message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.

Stopping and help

  • Reply STOP to any text to stop all texts. You will get one last text confirming it.
  • Reply START to sign up again after stopping.
  • Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected].

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your phone number

Your number is used only to send you Lucivity texts for the organization you serve with. No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. See the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for the details.
